Books on Healing
Books, books, books. Everyone asks me for recommendation for healing
books, music and other tools for their healing process and/or development
of their professional Reiki practice.
Here is my online library of healing resources & refences. Enjoy
the discovery.
Each book is numbered:
(1) means that I love it:
a 'must have';
(2) I read it and it's (very) good;
(3) others recommended it.
For multiple (1) books in the same category, I recommend you just get
1 or 2 books (not all books) in that category to avoid duplication.

Your
Guardian Angel and You: Tune in to the Signs and Signals to Hear
What Your Guardian Angel Is Telling You by Denny Sargent
(3)
Amazon Avg. Reader Book Review: 5 star
Reader review: "This book includes a scholarly history of
the holy guardian angel and then explains thoroughly many techniques
to access or communicate with one's holy guardian angel. On one
hand it is clear and accessible but the book also includes a broad
knowledge of ancient history. The book is all you need to get
in touch with the most important personal spiritual guide you
can have. "
"One of the most intelligently written books on this
subject".

K Gandhi Autobiography: The story of my Experiments with Truth
- (1: the DVD on Gandhi is also great!)
Gandhi is one of the most inspiring figures of our time. In his
classic autobiography he recounts the story of his life and how
he developed his concept of active nonviolent resistance, which
propelled the Indian struggle for independence and countless other
nonviolent struggles of the twentieth century. In a new foreword,
noted peace expert and teacher Sissela Bok urges us to adopt Gandhi's
"attitude of experimenting, of tesing what will and will not bear
close scrutiny, what can and cannot be adapted to new circumstances,"in
order to bring about change in our own lives and communities.
All royalties earned on this book are paid to the Navajivan Trust,
founded by Gandhi, for use in carrying on his work.

Animal peak: The Spiritual & Magical Powers of Creatures Great & Small by Ted Andrews(1!)
Want to learn how to speak the language of critters, large and small? Easy-to-read
and understand, Ted Andrews's bestselling Animal Speak shows readers how to
identify his or her animal totem and learn how to invoke its energy and use
it for personal growth and inner discovery. Nature lovers will love this insightful
compendium, chock-full of touching stories about animals, natural history, and
animal folklore. Readers will also learn magical animal rites and how to read
omens. Animal Speak includes a dictionary of bird, animal, reptile, and insect
totems, which describe each creature's meaning. For example, if a person's totem
is dragonfly, he or she was most likely excessively emotional and passionate
in early years, learning with age to balance it with mental clarity and control.
If a dragonfly suddenly shows up in your life, it means you may need to gain
a new perspective or make a change.

The Spiritual Tourist by Nick Brown
(1: fun, informative & easy reading)
)
'On a journey from teacher to teacher as he investigates spiritual
practice around the world. He joins the lost, the wise, the foolish,
and the holy along the way as he visits the Dalai Lama in the
Himalayas and Mother Meera in Germany and wanders the back streets
of London in search of the Messiah. Through his clear and wondrous
stories, Brown openly explores the multiple meanings and expressions
of spirituality in various cultures. Though he reaches no clear-cut
decisions about his own faith, he shows that the journey is the
thing." ( Amazon: 4 star)
