Excellence in Complementary & Alternative Health the Lotte & John Hecht Memorial Foundation's initiative of offering the Dr. Rogers Prize for Excellence in Complementary & Alternative Medicine of $250,000. Its purpose is to highlight the important contributions of complementary and alternative medicine to health care. The prize rewards a researcher or practitioner who has made a significant contribution to the field of Complementary & Alternative Medicine in Canada with the $250,000 Dr. Rogers Prize. Nominations will be accepted in Spring, and the prize will be awarded at a Gala Award Dinner in Vancouver on November 1, 2008 , which will also honour all of those who work in this important field. I feel truly privileged to offer you a link to this new initiative. In my field that is so fragmented, it is formidable that this initiative now exists. It's an encouragement to all practioners. So many people are helped to heal through complementary | alternative healing therapy. There are some truly quality, caring individuals working behind the scene, in humble ways, far away from society's main limelights. Therefore, I urge all of you who land at this website to consider nominating the best Canadian Complementary| Alternative Health professional you have worked with. Describe how he/she has touched your life and helped you heal! Full details & nomination forms at: http://www.drrogersprize.org Please take a moment to do so, and you may be rewarded too: Nominees are invited to the Award dinner with the keynote speaker, Dr. Andrew Weil. |
